Summer is thrilled to be part of The Voice of Miles: A Symphonic Celebration, a bold new show that transforms the acclaimed documentary Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool into a dazzling concert experience. Through the show, pairing Davis’ original, isolated trumpet recordings with a live orchestra, audiences will experience the sound and story of the genius who reshaped jazz as never before.
Summer is excited to continue her UK tour at London's Toulouse Lautrec Jazz Club! “Travelling from New York City, Summer presents music from her acclaimed debut album, To Whom I Love… Expect expressive trumpet playing, captivating musical conversations and a vibrant performance from one of the most exciting young artists emerging from New York’s celebrated jazz scene.

Summer is elated to return for a second show at St Kat’s Sessions' floating jazz club at St Katharine Docks, one of London’s most iconic dockside locations!
Set against the sparkling backdrop of the marina, amongst the yachts' reflections on the water, guests can enjoy live jazz performances, free glass of bubbles on arrival, plus a bar with hot drinks, and snug blankets to keep warm on summer evenings by the water. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the weekend, in one of London’s most atmospheric locations.

Summer will be one of the "Rising Stars of Jazz" featured in Edinburgh Festival’s Up Late: Jazz Jam! Come experience an energetic late-night jam, led by pianist Joe Webb and drummer Domo Branch.
Summer is elated to join the JLCO as a guest artist at the Edinburgh International Festival! She is one of five emerging stars of the American jazz scene who will be a part of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra’s programme which pays homage to the great Duke Ellington.

For this special show, Summer will be joined by the Andrew Wood Trio for an intimate evening of music at Peggy’s Skylight. The quartet performed in the UK for the first time together in 2025 to great acclaim, come and be a part of the next stage in this flourishing musical story!
Summer is thrilled to make her debut apperance at The Speakeasy Sessions at the Gin Mill in the Upper West Side of NYC - a cozy, intimate spot that turns into the ultimate music lounge!
Presented in partnership with the National Jazz Museum in Harlem, this concert honors the enduring legacy of legendary clarinetist and saxophonist Ken Peplowski and the musical vision he helped shape before his passing in early 2026. Led by pianist Rossano Sportiello, the evening celebrates the rich tradition of jazz through big band swing, contemporary works, and music associated with Louis Armstrong and Benny Goodman. Sportiello will be joined by an all-star ensemble featuring Willie Jones III, Jay Rattman, Harry Allen, Katie Thiroux, and Summer Camargo.

Summer is excited to return to the Shea Center in the Dennis Mackrel Jazz Orchestra. Dennis is a reknowned drummer, composer, arranger, bandleader, and William Patterson's Summer Workshop Artist in Residence. His long list of performances and recordings includes work with Count Basie and His Orchestra, the Dizzy Gillespie All-Star Big Band, the American Jazz Orchestra, the Carla Bley Very Large Band, the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, and the Maria Schneider Orchestra. His arrangements and compositions have been recorded by, among others, the Basie and Gillespie bands, the University of North Texas One O’clock Lab Band, the Columbus Jazz Orchestra, and on two Grammy-winning albums by the McCoy Tyner Big Band. Mackrel served as leader and conductor of the Count Basie Orchestra from 2010 to 2013. As an educator, he leads master classes, seminars, and workshops throughout the world and is currently Director of Jazz Studies at the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College. Mackrel’s world-class jazz orchestra will cap off the week in resounding fashion!

Summer is excited to serve as the guest artist for the UNT Jazz Combo Workshop! Hosted by the renowned University of North Texas College of Music, the workshop brings together talented young musicians for an immersive week of jazz improvisation, ensemble playing, masterclasses, and performance. On Wednesday, Summer will work closely with students through rehearsals, clinics, and performances, sharing her experiences as a performer, composer, and educator while helping the next generation of jazz artists develop their craft.

Summer is excited to play with Pianist and composer Migiwa “Miggy” Miyajima as she returns with her orchestra to celebrate the release of her live album recorded at Dizzy’s in 2025, transforming the room with music shaped by memory, resilience, and hope. Blending sweeping ensemble writing with narration, the suite draws from Miggy’s own experience surviving the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, alongside stories gathered from fellow survivors and volunteers. The result is an emotionally rich evening that feels deeply personal, uplifting, and unforgettable.
Summer is excited to be joining CHiCA Power, a full-week immersive workshop addressing gender disparity in jazz by centering and uplifting female musicians. Summer will be the featured teacher on Monday, July 13, which will include a masterclass from 2:30pm-3:30pm. Summer is honored to join other accomplished female instrumentalists and guest artists, hoping to build confidence, deepen connections to jazz history, and help develop artistic voices through mentorship guided by the motto “RiSE and iMPROViSE.”

Summer is excited to make her debut appearance at Jazz in June! On Friday evening at 7:30pm, she will be featured alongside The Jazz Exchange and acclaimed musicians Mark Lettieri and Chris Bullock as part of the Mike Stern concert. On Saturday evening at 7:30pm, Summer returns as a featured guest artist with bassist Vincen Garcia and the Summer Jazz Collective, an all-star big band of outstanding high school musicians from across the region. Join us for a weekend of great music, collaboration, and jazz education as professional artists and the next generation of jazz musicians share the stage together.
Summer is honored to be a guest artist for this year’s APEX Trumpet Symposium! APEX is North America’s premiere in-person summer trumpet symposium. From the majestic heights of Tennessee’s Smokey Mountains, a stone's throw from Knoxville, participants hone their creative voices in a stunning mountaintop lodge. Participants enjoy private lessons, topic lectures, non-traditional interactive masterclasses from world-class artists, time for individual practice, and trumpet ensembles all taking place in a positive, supportive, and collegial environment.
Trumpeter Summer Camargo joins the award-winning Trottier Big Band for a special evening of classic swing, big band favorites, and vibrant jazz performances. The concert highlights the students’ work throughout the year alongside Camargo’s energetic playing and warm stage presence in a celebration of jazz and young musicianship.
Summer Camargo joins the Eyal Vilner Big Band for an evening of high-energy swing dancing at Lincoln Center’s Summer for the City festival. Featuring music from the band’s latest album Big Apple Stomp, the night also includes dance instruction and performances led by acclaimed choreographer and a cast of Lindy Hop performers.
