Summer is exicited to join Hina Oikawa's “Short Songs,” a project combining Japanese tanka poetry with jazz. Led by saxophonist and composer Hina Oikawa, the performance features a large jazz ensemble playing original music inspired by the beauty and emotions of traditional poetry. This unique blend of words and music offers a fresh and moving experience for the audience.

Summer is excited to join the Gettysburg College Jazz Ensemble in concert! The GCJE has opened for Ray Brown and Phil Woods and performed with world-renowned soloists Carmen Bradford, Delfeayo Marsalis, Paquito D’Rivera, Boston Brass, Denis DiBlasio, Lew Soloff, Graham Breedlove, and Chris Brubeck.
NBC will celebrate the show's 50th anniversary with a prime-time special on February 16, airing from 8 to 11 p.m. The three-hour event will cap a “celebratory weekend” in SNL's honor and a half century of the trailblazing sketch show.
“Saturday Night Live” is bringing Studio 8H to Radio City Music Hall with a three-hour, livestreamed concert on Feb. 14, in celebration of the sketch comedy series' 50th anniversary. Jimmy Fallon will host the event, which boasts a lineup including Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, Miley Cyrus, Backstreet Boys and many more.

Summer joins rising French-Malagasy pianist and composer Mathis Picard’s large ensemble, The Sound Orchestra, at Dizzy’s Club for an exciting evening, premiering new works, preludes, fugues, and bold arrangements.
The Unity Jazz Festival electrifies the House of Swing for two full evenings of live music! As a member of the Future of Jazz Orchestra, Summer will be performing on January 11 in the Ertegun Atrium.
Summer will join Endea Owens at the Winter Jazzfest Manhattan Marathon. Endea is a Detroit-raised recording artist, bassist, composer, and fellow Juilliard graduate!
Summer will be one of the panelists for the session titled, “My Year in Jazz: Celebrating Our Community.” These brief one-on-one conversations, moderated by Keanna Faircloth, provide an opportunity for us to celebrate wonderful milestones in the jazz community in 2024.
