Summer is honored to be a part of the Jazz at Lincoln Center’s annual Spring Gala hosted by Dave Chappelle! This unforgettable concert brings together jazz lovers, world-class musicians, and rising stars to honor the legacy of the iconic pianist, composer, and bandleader Duke Ellington. Swing and revel in the timeless brilliance of Ellington’s music—all while supporting Jazz at Lincoln Center’s mission to entertain, enrich, and grow a global jazz community.

Summer is returning to Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Songbook Sundays for a celebration of Rodgers and Hart, the duo behind some of jazz’s most enduring standards. Grammy winner Debby Boone, rising vocalist Jason Turner, and music director Ted Rosenthal lead an all-star intergenerational band through timeless favorites. Hosted and curated by American Songbook expert Deborah Grace Winer, this lively evening brings jazzy romance and wit to the stage in true Dizzy’s fashion.

An afternoon of jazz performances and workshops with the Grace Fox Big Band! Key of She Jazz is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and encouraging girls in jazz, from middle school through college and beyond. Students of all genders, parents, educators, and jazz enthusiasts welcome!

Summer is exicited to join Hina Oikawa's “Short Songs,” a project combining Japanese tanka poetry with jazz. Led by saxophonist and composer Hina Oikawa, the performance features a large jazz ensemble playing original music inspired by the beauty and emotions of traditional poetry. This unique blend of words and music offers a fresh and moving experience for the audience.

Summer and the Future of Jazz Orchestra return to Dizzy’s for two shows, as they continue to bring the iconic music of Duke Ellington to NYC audiences.

Summer is excited to join the Gettysburg College Jazz Ensemble in concert! The GCJE has opened for Ray Brown and Phil Woods and performed with world-renowned soloists Carmen Bradford, Delfeayo Marsalis, Paquito D’Rivera, Boston Brass, Denis DiBlasio, Lew Soloff, Graham Breedlove, and Chris Brubeck.

NBC will celebrate the show's 50th anniversary with a prime-time special on February 16, airing from 8 to 11 p.m. The three-hour event will cap a “celebratory weekend” in SNL's honor and a half century of the trailblazing sketch show.

“Saturday Night Live” is bringing Studio 8H to Radio City Music Hall with a three-hour, livestreamed concert on Feb. 14, in celebration of the sketch comedy series' 50th anniversary. Jimmy Fallon will host the event, which boasts a lineup including Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, Miley Cyrus, Backstreet Boys and many more.

Summer is excited to return to a Broadway orchestra pit, joining the Tony Award winner, James Monroe Iglehart, as he stars as jazz legend and American icon Louis Armstrong in this new musical!

Summer joins rising French-Malagasy pianist and composer Mathis Picard’s large ensemble, The Sound Orchestra, at Dizzy’s Club for an exciting evening, premiering new works, preludes, fugues, and bold arrangements. 

The Unity Jazz Festival electrifies the House of Swing for two full evenings of live music! As a member of the Future of Jazz Orchestra, Summer will be performing on January 11 in the Ertegun Atrium.

Summer will join Endea Owens at the Winter Jazzfest Manhattan Marathon. Endea is a Detroit-raised recording artist, bassist, composer, and fellow Juilliard graduate!

Summer will be one of the panelists for the session titled, “My Year in Jazz: Celebrating Our Community.”  These brief one-on-one conversations, moderated by Keanna Faircloth, provide an opportunity for us to celebrate wonderful milestones in the jazz community in 2024. Let’s rise up and celebrate our own!

The New Jersey Jazz Society is featuring The Summer Camargo Trio at Jersey Jazz LIVE! Seating is limited so get your tickets early, and come enjoy a memorable afternoon of swinging jazz!

Summer joins composer, drummer, and bandleader Jon Sturino in a concert of tunes from his debut album Blow Globe. This 10-piece ensemble fuses the sound of instrumental jazz and ethos of contemporary electronic and songwriter musics.

Summer joins the DIVA Jazz Orchestra as they celebrate the work of jazz artists turning 100 in 2024 including Sarah Vaughan, Louie Bellson, J.J. Johnson, Max Roach, Paul Desmond and Dinah Washington. This performance will feature grammy-nominated vocalist Kim Nazarian, founding member of the New York Voices.
